What Is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 by InMode is a fractional radiofrequency treatment. Fine pins enter the skin and deliver radiofrequency heat beneath the surface. This supports collagen remodelling, which can help improve the look of skin texture and firmness over time.
Supports Collagen
Radiofrequency heat helps the skin remodel collagen over time.
Smoother Texture
Can help improve uneven texture and the look of scarring.
Firmer-Looking Skin
Helps skin look tighter and more defined.
Softens Fine Lines
Can help soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Face and Body
Suitable for areas such as the face, neck, tummy and thighs.
Introducing Morpheus8 by InMode

Our Morpheus8 in Leicester is carried out with the genuine Morpheus8 by InMode handpiece, the original RF microneedling device behind the name.
- Gold-coated microneedles. A grid of fine needles delivers radiofrequency heat into the deeper layers of the skin, where collagen is made.
- Adjustable depth and energy. Your therapist sets the depth and energy for each area, so the delicate eye area is treated very differently from the jawline or the stomach.
- Face, neck and body. One treatment covers the eye area, forehead, cheeks, jawline, neck and body areas such as the stomach.
- Numbing first. Numbing cream is applied before treatment to keep you comfortable.
Every treatment starts with a consultation (£35, redeemable against your treatment or anything you book afterwards). Results vary from person to person.

Morpheus8 Results: What to Expect
Morpheus8 works gradually, as your skin responds to treatment over the following weeks. Your therapist will recommend a plan based on your skin and goals.
First Few Days
Redness and mild swelling are common and usually settle within a few days.
A Course of Sessions
Several sessions, a few weeks apart, are often recommended.
Gradual Improvement
Skin continues to change as new collagen forms.
Maintenance
Top-up sessions can help maintain your results.
Results vary from person to person, depending on your skin, age and lifestyle. Your therapist will explain what you can realistically expect at your consultation.
Morpheus8 Before and After
Morpheus8 works gradually, so changes build over the weeks after a course of treatment as new collagen forms. Below is an example Morpheus8 result on the jawline and neck.

Everyone’s skin responds differently, and results depend on your skin, age, lifestyle and the number of sessions. At your consultation we will look at your skin and tell you honestly what is realistic for you. We are adding before and after photos from our own Wigston clients, shared with their permission.
Results vary from person to person.
Morpheus8 Downtime: What the First Week Looks Like
Morpheus8 has some downtime, and it helps to plan for it, especially before an event. This is what most people notice after a facial treatment. Your therapist will give you aftercare advice for your skin and the area treated.
Straight after
Skin is red, warm and may feel tight, similar to mild sunburn. You can go home straight away.
Days 1 to 2
Redness and some swelling are common. You may see a faint grid of tiny dots where the needles entered.
Days 3 to 5
Redness fades. Skin can feel dry or rough and may flake a little. Keep it clean, moisturised and protected from the sun.
After about a week
Most people are back to their normal routine and make-up. Body areas can take a little longer to settle.
Weeks 4 to 12
Your skin keeps responding as new collagen forms, so changes build gradually rather than overnight.
Planning for an event?
We usually suggest booking at least 2 to 4 weeks before a wedding, holiday or party, so your skin has time to settle.
Everyone heals differently. Contact the clinic on 0116 288 7267 if anything worries you after treatment.
Morpheus8 for the Face, Neck and Body in Leicester
Morpheus8 can be used on the face, neck and body. On the face, popular areas are the lower face and jawline, cheeks, around the mouth, the forehead and the neck. On the body, clients often ask about the tummy, upper arms, inner thighs, knees and areas with stretch marks.
Needle depth and energy are adjusted for each area and for your skin, so a body treatment is planned differently from a facial one. Your therapist will talk you through what is realistic for the area you want treated.
Popular areas
- Lower face and jawline
- Cheeks and mouth area
- Neck
- Tummy
- Thighs and arms
Is Morpheus8 Right for You?
Morpheus8 may suit you if you want to improve the look of your skin without surgery. Your therapist will check your skin and medical history at your consultation to make sure it is right for you.
It may suit you if you have
- Skin that has lost some firmness
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven texture or enlarged pores
- Acne scarring
- Stretch marks on the body
Who Should Not Have Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is not right for everyone. We check your skin and medical history at your consultation and will tell you honestly if another treatment, or no treatment, is the better choice. We may advise you to wait or not to have Morpheus8 if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
We wait until afterwards.
Have broken or infected skin
Open wounds, active spots, cold sores or infection in the area need to settle first.
Have a pacemaker or implants
A pacemaker, or metal or electronic implants near the area, need to be discussed before treatment.
Have had recent filler or threads
We will advise on timing so treatments do not interfere with each other.
Take certain medicines
Some medicines, such as blood thinners or recent acne tablets, and some medical conditions mean Morpheus8 may not be suitable, or not yet.
Have a fresh tan or sunburn
Skin needs to be calm and not recently tanned. A tendency to raised scarring also needs discussing.
This is not a full list. Please tell us about any medicines, implants or medical conditions before your treatment.

Morpheus8 Aftercare: Looking After Your Skin
Good aftercare helps your skin settle and get the most from each session. Your therapist will talk you through it on the day and give you written advice to take home. As a guide:
The first 24 hours
Leave your skin to settle. Avoid make-up, and wash gently with cool water and a mild cleanser. Do not touch, rub or pick the treated area.
Keep it calm
For around 48 hours avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, swimming and hard exercise, which can increase heat and redness.
Protect from the sun
Wear SPF 30 or higher every day and avoid sunbeds and tanning for at least 2 weeks, as freshly treated skin is more sensitive to the sun.
Pause active skincare
Stop retinol, acids, scrubs and other strong products for around a week, or until your therapist says your skin is ready.
Moisturise and hydrate
Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser. Some dryness and light flaking is normal; let it come away on its own.
Before your next session
Sessions in a course are usually spaced around 4 to 6 weeks apart, giving your skin time to recover and respond.
If you notice anything unusual, such as increasing pain, swelling or signs of infection, contact the clinic straight away on 0116 288 7267.

Frequently asked questions
What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 by InMode is a fractional radiofrequency treatment. Fine pins deliver radiofrequency heat beneath the skin to support collagen remodelling.
Who carries out the treatment?
Your Morpheus8 treatment is carried out by one of our qualified therapists, trained on the equipment and fully insured.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people have a course of sessions a few weeks apart. Your therapist will recommend the right number for your skin at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied before treatment. Most people feel warmth or a prickling sensation and find it manageable.
Is there any downtime?
Redness, mild swelling or dryness are common for a few days. Most people return to their normal routine within a day or two.
What is the difference between Morpheus8 and microneedling?
Standard microneedling uses fine needles to create tiny channels in the upper layers of the skin. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency heat delivered through the needles into deeper layers, so it is often chosen when you want firming as well as smoother texture. See microneedling in Leicester to compare.
Is Morpheus8 the same as RF microneedling?
Morpheus8 by InMode is one type of RF (radiofrequency) microneedling. If you are searching for RF microneedling in Leicester, Morpheus8 is the RF microneedling treatment we offer at our Wigston clinic.
Morpheus8 or HIFU: which is right for me?
HIFU uses focused ultrasound with no needles and is often chosen for mild to moderate sagging on the jawline and neck. Morpheus8 uses needles and radiofrequency and also works on texture, pores and the look of scarring. Some people have both. We will recommend one, both or neither at your consultation.
Can Morpheus8 be used on the body?
Yes. Morpheus8 can be used on body areas such as the tummy, upper arms, inner thighs and knees, and on areas with stretch marks. Settings are adjusted for each area. Results vary from person to person.
How long do Morpheus8 results last?
Changes build over around three months as new collagen forms. How long they last depends on your age, skin and lifestyle, as skin keeps ageing naturally. Some people choose a top-up session later on, which your therapist can advise on.
When can I wear make-up after Morpheus8?
Your therapist will give you aftercare advice on the day. Most people wait until the skin has settled for a day or two before wearing make-up, and keep the skin clean, moisturised and protected from the sun.
When will I see results?
Results build gradually over the weeks after treatment as your skin responds. Results vary from person to person.
Is Morpheus8 suitable for my skin type?
Your therapist will check your skin type and medical history at your consultation and advise whether Morpheus8 is suitable for you.
Can I combine Morpheus8 with other treatments?
Often, yes. Your therapist will advise on which treatments can be combined and the right timing between them.
How much does Morpheus8 cost?
Morpheus8 at our Leicester clinic is priced per area: eyes only £300 (course of 3 £700), lower face and neck £500 (£1,200), full face and neck £600 (£1,400) and stomach £500 (£1,200). Other body areas start from £400. See Morpheus8 prices.

Can Morpheus8 help with acne scars?
Morpheus8 may help improve the look of old acne scarring over a course of sessions. It is not carried out on active spots or broken skin. We will tell you honestly what to expect at your consultation.
Can I have Morpheus8 if I have had filler?
Often, yes, but timing matters. Please tell us about any recent filler, threads or other treatments so we can plan the right gap between them.
How should I prepare for Morpheus8?

How much is a Morpheus8 consultation?
Your Morpheus8 consultation is £35, and the £35 is redeemable against your treatment or anything you book afterwards. We check your skin and medical history, talk through your goals and give you a clear treatment plan and price before you book.
